Precious Call Khamasi, who is a pastor at Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) Valley Road in Nairobi, Kenya, told us about the need for courage in his city and country:

In our nation, a troubling phenomenon has emerged, where the rise of cults and individuals exploiting genuine faith has become a pervasive issue. Tragically, the consequences have been dire, as many lives have been lost due to the extreme measures individuals are coerced into taking under the guise of seeking a deeper connection with Jesus. It is imperative that we address this pressing concern, calling out the individuals and emphasizing the importance of staying rooted in sound doctrine while actively avoiding involvement with cultic organizations. Emphasizing the need to remain grounded in sound doctrine is paramount. Sound doctrine serves as an anchor, providing guidance and clarity amidst the tumultuous sea of religious influences. The church needs more courage to address this.
